This looks like the result of some kind of Toy Story gone wrong.

We know it used to be a thing for women to make their own dolls, but who buys this many doll heads? And then doesn't make the dolls? Were they just lined up on a shelf somewhere?

We have no idea what this thing is intended to be. We can only assume it serves some terribly evil purpose. Could it be anything else, with a face like that?

If Jigsaw had a family and they went caroling, it would probably look something like this.

We find it difficult to point out exactly what is wrong with this ladybug. Maybe the eyes? The facial expression? It's belly? We don't know. We just know it makes us uneasy.

We call this one "cross-dresser Santa is angry that he doesn't know how to properly apply mascara".

Is this a cat? A dog? Why are it's arms so short? And why is something so masculine looking wearing a dress?

We can imagine lots of different animal figures you'd want to see in your house. This isn't one of them. 
 

Snakes aren't our favorite things to begin with. This one looks like it would like nothing better than to kill you.

The Christmas season brings out the best in many thrift shops. You can find all kinds of awesome decorations. You can also find all kinds of creepy weirdness. Like this one. We don't want that elf on our shelf. Or anywhere else in our houses.

Why is this monkey blue? why does it look so frightened? Is it afraid of that clearly menacing tree? Most importantly, who in their right mind would buy this and put it in their house?

This photo is perhaps not the clearest but this blazer is made from a furry fabric. Because nothings says classy like a jacket that makes you look like a psychedelic muppet.

There is some much going on here, so much that is tacky.

• Man made of shells

• Awkward cross-legged pose

Today we'd like to try out another new feature. We call this one:
It came from the Goodwill.

Just as the name suggests, these posts will feature the weird and/or creepy things we've seen at thrift shops. The kind of things that make you wonder about the original owners.


This dog is not so bad in and of itself. A little too long in the face and a little too wrinkly but not horrible. Except for that tear. Why is it red? Why would you want a dog crying bloody tears?
