Here's something we haven't done before. We are providing a photo of Mo. You provide the caption. The best caption wins a special dedicated post here on the Death Stare.
Here's your photo:

How long will they play along?
If you recall, last week we told you about our new coworker Bueller. (Here's the link if you missed it) We suspected that we'd have more stories of "illness" from Bueller. Sure enough, today we heard a doozie.
Bueller left a message on the voice mail this morning. This is a direct quote, near as we can recall. "I can't come in right away this morning. I'm going to the doctor because I'm still getting the sicks, really bad. I might be in after the doctor or I might be late or I might not be in or I might just be late."
We just can't figure that one out. What in the world are the sicks? We went around the rest of the day chanting "I've got the really bad sicks." We think it should be a song. If you have any recommendations of songs we could rewrite using the words "I've got the really bad sicks" we'd love to hear it. Leave your suggestions in the comments.

Everyone loves a creepy guy
We are in the middle of developing a new project involving one of our coworkers and at least one puppet. We will update you as more information becomes available. For now, we need some help from all of you. We've created a puppet character who is intended to be kind of creepy. The key is, he says very normal things in a way that could sound creepy. So far his catch phrases include:
You're my best friend.
Can I touch your hair?
Let me tie your shoes.
I thought you could come to my house for some supper. I'm making spaghetti.
Hopefully we can get you some audio of this fellow soon.
What we need from you is some suggestions. Please leave your suggestions for potentially creepy, face value innocuous, statements in the comments. Again we want to stress things that sound normal but could be creepy. We'll pick our favorites in April.

Listen up, Shoes
Everyone eavesdrops on occasion. Even if you don't do it intentionally, you occasionally listen in on someone else's conversation. Most of us have the good manners to try and disguise our nosiness. Shoes is not one of those people. Shoes has a tendency to stop working and lean a little towards the people who are talking. Shoes seems to want to know everything that is happening in the building at all times.
Sometimes we think it would be fun to start some kind of rumor with Shoes around, to see how far it gets. So, here's our question for you: What rumor should we start? What would be funny to hear our coworkers speculate about? Leave your ideas in the comments. We'll pick our favorite in February.

A little blog business
Hi Friends! Your friends Spoof and Speck here. We've had a great time this year, sharing our crazy stories with you. We'd like the fun to continue. To that end, we're looking for your help. What types of posts do you like best? What features do you love? Which ones do you hate? Is there anything you'd like to see more of? Leave us your suggestions in the comments. We'd like to start 2014 with a set-up that you all enjoy.

That ain't Kermit
Today's paining leads us to a number of questions. Where did such a big frog come from? How has that guy not noticed it? And most importantly, is the frog going to eat the guy or is the guy leading the frog by it's tongue? We leave it up to you to decide.
In fact, we're asking for your input. We're making this painting a caption contest. Send us your funniest caption in the comments. We'll post our favorite December 1st.

A question for you
Lately we've been debating the merits of punching people we don't like. Neither of us has ever hit a person, nor has the desire to do so ever been so strong.
So the question is this: if you have a whole list of people you want to punch what do you do? Do you punch the person you hate the most first, in case you decide you don't like hitting people, so you can be sure to get this most important punch in? Or is it better to save the most hated person for last, thereby getting as many practice punches in as possible, so that most important punch has the most impact (pun intended)?
What do you think friends? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.

Just a reminder
In case you've forgotten or are new to our blog, we wanted to remind you that you have just one more week to share your meaning for the acronym PSA. Not sure what we're talking about? Check out this post. We'll share our favorite response here on the blog on the 30th.

So, get this
When you hear PSA what do you think of? Some of you may answer "Professional Squash Association" (that's a real thing by the way) but more than likely most of you will say "Public Service Announcement."
And what is a Public Service Announcement? Wikipedia provides this definition: "messages in the public interest disseminated by the media without charge, with the objective of raising awareness, changing public attitudes and behavior towards a social issue."
We've all seen a PSA, probably teaching us about drugs, AIDS, or tolerance.
Hey, Spoof and Speck, you are saying. What's the deal? This is really boring. Where's your usual witty observations? Don't worry friends. We're almost there.
The thing is, Shoes talks about PSAs all of the time. A ridiculous amount of Shoes' week is spent writing PSAs. We do not work for any kind of public health/social justice nonprofit organization. Remember that Wikipedia definition? PSAs are about social issues. We send information about programs and events. Press Releases.
What we, Shoes included, send out looks more like this:
And in case you've forgotten who we're talking about, Shoes is the Hutt's minion. Shoes has power, is somewhat in charge of us.
So now it's your turn. What else could PSA be an acronym for? Share your funniest answers in the comments. Our favorite will be featured here on Falling Down the Death Stare in late September.
